The purpose of our movement is to provide affordable housing, first and foremost.
The aim is to organize a community and use the collective experiences and resources of the group to help people join and grow the community.
There is a community of Motorhomes that has taken roots near a Church, Lowes Warehouse, McDonalds, Tim Hortons and near a Skytrain Station.
People are parked on city properties and parking lots at night time.
There is a need for affordable housing and living in vehicles is one of the alternative housing that has proven to be workable even on an ad hoc basis.
There are many abandon motorhomes and camper vans that can be had for very cheap and with a group collective effort, these can be made habitable.
We are living through a pandemic and this is a good social distancing options for people who are forced to live in a group setting such as emergency shelters.
Time to finally make something positive happen and start healing the planet.
Just letting you know:
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
